Pleatation, founded by Ms. Chiang Xiaojun is a brand from Singapore specialising in pleat-related products in Fashion, Stationery, Home and Lifestyle. “Le Enchant” is a digitally printed collection of dresses she created in collaboration with Epson Singapore for the FashionisTech showcase at FUZE Fashion Technology 2017.
The collection draws inspiration from enchanted forests from around the world, capturing beautiful shades and wildering silhouettes in vibrant hues.
The vivid colours in “Le Enchant” were achieved with the innovative dye-sublimation and direct-to-garment printing technologies of Epson’s digital printers. Digital printing leaps ahead of the traditional modus operandi of the fashion world by shortening turnaround time while providing access to customised prints in much smaller volumes. This helps fashion labels save time & costs, perfect for Pleatation, where new designs need to be launched in exclusive quantity every month.
