Putting our philosophy into action
- Our philosophy states that we'll integrate environmental considerations into our corporate activities and 'actively strive to meet high conservation standards in fulfilling our responsibilities as a good corporate citizen'.
- There are five major activities that underpin this philosophy:
- Creating and providing earth-friendly products
- Transforming all processes to reduce the burden on the environment
- Recovering and recycling used products
- Sharing of environmental information and contributing to regional and international preservation efforts
- Continually improving the environmental management system which covers all stages of a product's lifecycle.
Over 30 years actively caring for the environment
- Our philosophy is built on very sound foundations. Here are some milestones:
- 1970s
- We introduced a closed system for harmful substances in wastewater processing
- 1988
- We were the first company to introduce a policy on CFC-free products
- 1993
- Specific CFCs were completely eliminated from our production processes
- 1994
- We introduced our corporate policy on the environment
- 1999
- The policy was revised based on a robust Environmental Philosophy
- 2006
- We established our Environmental Vision 2050
